This series was designed and executed in collaboration with the subject and fine artist Rocky, who was interested in exploring the textures of her own flesh in comparison, companionship, and contrast with the rest of the natural world. We focused especially on marks on her own skin, including scars and stretch-marks, and looking for similar scaring and signs of growth on bark and other natural forms.
